How It Works
Each semester, we welcome a new group of students. Who can participate? LED Education is designed for school-age learners who study partly or fully online and would benefit from additional learning support, social interaction, digital-literacy activities and a structured learning environment. You can start anytime — no deadlines
Where does participation take place? Activities take place at the LED Education learning environment in Riga, where students can study independently, receive support from tutors and participate in project activities.
What happens during the day? Students continue working with the curriculum of their own school. LED Education tutors provide support with planning, organisation, difficult learning tasks, motivation and day-to-day study routines. Depending on the programme, students may also take part in digital-literacy, well-being and group activities.
Assessments and project activities. As part of the pilot, students may be invited to complete digital-literacy, well-being or other project assessments at different stages of participation. Where research or evaluation activities are involved, the relevant information and consent requirements are provided separately.
Questions or special needs? Parents and students are encouraged to inform the LED Education team about any learning, health, accessibility or support needs so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed in advance.
Meals and breaks.Students have regular breaks during the day. Information about lunch arrangements and any related costs is provided before participation begins.
